In a dangerous world, the power of words gave her hope. The Book Thief hits theaters this November.

I went to a screening last week and it was really beautiful. Like at multiple points I was thinking, “Oh someone’s going to gif that on tumblr.” I was also mildly distracted by Liesel’s lips and Rudy’s eyelashes which is saying something since the story is so captivating.

Visual loveliness  - but will the story translate to film?
